At Lung King Heen inside the Four Seasons in Hong Kong.
In the Hong Kong subway, en route to lunch.
At a dessert cafe in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. About to try durian for the first time.
Have been awake for 2 hours.
The sun is finally up. Looking down on the escalator below, lights still lit - I feel like I have come back home. Much the same way I feel when I go back to Prague, Toronto, New York, Tokyo. And in much the same way, the familiarity of the place is at odds with how far removed I've become from it.
Catching up is always fun but there's always the sense that I am just an observer passing by rather than a participant in the same game people here are playing.
